- The role
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage end-to-end employee relations cases, including misconduct, discrimination, harassment, bullying, performance management, and grievances.
- Provide advice on disciplinary meetings, performance management, and grievance resolution.
- Conduct workplace investigations, manage long-term absences, and ensure effective interventions.
- Deliver coaching and development to line managers to build leadership capability.
- Collaborate with the General Manager, People & Culture, and property leadership teams.
- Establish and maintain relationships with compliance teams, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Support the alignment of employee relations frameworks with the Fair Work Act and ensure procedural fairness across the business.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in employee relations processes and implement best practices.
- About you
- A tertiary qualification in Employment Law, Industrial Relations, or other relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in employee relations, including case management and resolution of high-risk ER cases.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, particularly around workplace investigations and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a large corporate or highly regulated industry, ideally within hospitality, gaming, or a similar sector.
