Description du posteReporting to the Supply Support and Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator effectively and efficiently develops and coordinates the logistics and warehousing activities along with accurately maintaining inventory as well as distribution and stock management.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
- Develop and maintain logistics process and associated form, work instruction and procedures.
- Stock management, inventory, stocktaking, receipts, shipments and deliveries of spare parts and products.
- Ensure sufficient level of supply is made available to maintenance support team and workshops.
- Coordinate distribution activities.
- Generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.
- Manage Contractor Managed Commonwealth Asset (CMCA) as per requirements
- Disposal plan management.
- Inventory Database (internal / external) management and update.
- Maintain detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.
- Management of logistics requirements (ITAR, Security), import / export agreements and incoterms.
- Conduct periodic pricing and service agreement reviews to ensure contract agreements meet market standards for the services required.
- Be actively involved in SEDA quality plan.

- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Department of Defence security clearance to NV1.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE :
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics and / or Supply Chain
- Minimum 3 years experience in Logistics
- Skills and experience working with ERP systems
- Experience working in or exposure to the defence industry, is desirable
- Manage the logistics from product development to the shipment of finished items
- Experience in processes under Quality Standards AS / NZS9001, AS / NZS9110, and AS / NZS14001 framework
- Advance use of Microsoft Office (word and excel)
