About the Role :

As the Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing the branch's operational and sales performance, ensuring outstanding service delivery across all touchpoints. This hands-on role will see you managing logistics, driving continuous improvement, and leading a team of dedicated professionals—all while fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operational Oversight : Lead daily operations across freight and sales, ensuring consistency, compliance, and performance excellence
• Customer Experience : Deliver exceptional service, maintaining clear and timely communication with clients
• Logistics Coordination : Manage freight operations, including bookings, airfreight solutions, and resolving complex logistics issues
• Account Management : Prepare quotes, build relationships, and act as a trusted advisor to clients
• Team Leadership : Inspire and guide your team—including Business Development staff, Operations Specialists, and drivers—to achieve collective goals
• Fleet Oversight : Ensure company vehicles are well-maintained and effectively utilised
• Administration & Reporting : Oversee branch-level budgeting, financial reporting, and general administration
• Continuous Improvement : Embrace change, solve problems creatively, and look for opportunities to streamline and improve operations
