Job descriptionThe role Provide outstanding leadership and management of the operations team across the whole site. Manage the performance and promote continuous improvement of the overall DC operation. Through your extensive management experience, identify areas where staff require upskilling, training, and managing succession planning. Lead the day-to-day operations of the site, including dry, perishables, and liquor. Ensure safe working practices are undertaken across the whole site. Upholding high standards for health, safety and wellbeing. Monitor and meet financial targets and budgets for warehouse operations Promote collaboration between the warehouse and customer service team to ensure that customer expectations and requirements are met. About you In-depth FMCG, Retail, or Warehousing knowledge, with 5+ years experience in a similar role. Proven success managing a distribution centre with 50+ staff. Strong financial acumen and previous budgeting and forecasting experience Previous success in implementing cultural change management. Strategically minded leader that displays drive, Initiative, and can make sound decisions. Experience managing the execution and implementation of automated warehousing In-depth knowledge of warehouse systems Ability to foster open communication, create a collaborative culture and drive continuous improvement.
