The job will mainly entail office management such as dealing with emails and phone calls, ordering and stock control. Daily filing of various accounts paperwork, quality control forms and miscellaneous documents. Applicants must be fluent with MYOB to the extent that they can create invoices and enter bill payments correctly into the software. Our Bookkeeper will provide any necessary training to keep up with changes in government requirements, Superannuation, PAYG, etc.
There will also be duties involving staff management such as tracking hours worked and ordering daily lunch for 6 employees.
The role also includes Logistics and Customer Interaction—mainly organizing freight, deliveries, and pickups locally. A driver's license is essential, and a company vehicle will be provided. Customer interaction will occur during deliveries, pickups, and at our reception for quotes or inquiries via phone or email. Initially, quoting will be handled by someone else, but this may become part of the role with training.
There may be opportunities to learn design software for creating programs for CNC Machines if you have an interest in the creative aspect.
The usual schedule is 41 hours per week, from 7 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm Monday to Thursday and 7 : 30 am to 12 : 30 pm on Fridays, with overtime rates applicable, effectively paying for 46.5 hours weekly.
