The successful candidate will be resourceful, show initiative and be able to communicate effectively to manage the day-to-day operations and provide support to multiple departments.Responsibilities : Acting as the central hub for purchasing equipment, plant, and other resourcesAssisting sites in completing projects within the scheduled time and budgetIdentifying the highest quality resources available at the most economical costEffectively communicating with various stakeholders including fellow employees, suppliers and subcontractorsMaintaining a safe workplace and understanding H&S, Quality and environmental principlesUnderstanding the technology of equipment and plant in the engineering industryManaging the warehouse in compliance with Ward's policies and visionOverseeing inventory management by performing physical counts and reconciling them with the data storage systemComplying with all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirementsProducing regular reports and statisticsSkills required : Excellent communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to prepare reports and analyse dataAttention to detail, time management and organisational skillsWard offers its employees the opportunity to develop a career in a successful and growing civil infrastructure business.
