About the Role
Our client focused on the National Security of Australia is seeking multiple experienced Cloud Engineers. In this role you will be responsible for architecting and designing AWS infrastructure solutions to meet organisational technical and business requirements. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize AWS services for cost performance security and reliability while adhering to best practice and compliance standards. Additionally you will coordinate with senior leadership and work closely with product owners and developers to identify test and assess security controls in alignment with the PSPF ISM E8 and organisational policy.
Key responsibilities include :
- Contributing to the implementation of CNAPP / SASE tooling across cloud platforms.
- Using and implementing products related to Azure Active Directory and Azure Active Directory Domain Services.
- Implementing solutions and tools as Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for evaluation prior to use in the TS Cloud including replicating production environments for PoCs and testing.
- Working with agencies to understand their current state architectures and incorporating these considerations into architectural designs.
- Ensuring relevant policies and standards are addressed and planning and designing for emerging technologies such as Zero Trust Architecture.
- Collaborating closely with industry cloud providers to architect feasible and viable solution architectures.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have :
Extensive experience in architecting and designing AWS infrastructure solutions.Strong collaboration skills with crossfunctional teams to optimize AWS services.Proven ability to coordinate with senior leadership and work collaboratively with product owners and developers.Indepth knowledge of security controls and compliance standards including PSPF ISM and E8.Experience with CNAPP / SASE tooling and Azure Active Directory services.Ability to implement solutions and tools as PoCs and replicate production environments for testing.Understanding of current state architectures and emerging technologies such as Zero Trust Architecture.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with industry cloud providers.Why partner with Whizdom
