About The Role

This key leadership role is responsible for all logistics operations at L’Occitane ANZ, including warehousing, e-commerce order fulfillment, in-house assembly and kitting, as well as domestic and international freight. Based at our Distribution Centre in Silverwater, this position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and effectiveness of our supply chain operations.

Success in this role requires exceptional organisational and communication skills, a hands-on leadership style, and a commitment to mentoring and developing team members in alignment with L’Occitane’s Prosperity values and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Oversee all day-to-day logistics operations, including warehousing, e-commerce order fulfilment, in-house assembly, and kitting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Distribution Centre team, including casual and seasonal employees.
• Foster a positive, high-performing culture aligned with L’Occitane’s values and expectations.
• Manage warehouse operating budgets, including labor, freight, packing supplies, and fixed costs.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory, maintaining strict adherence to a First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) model.
• Manage all freight operations, including inbound and outbound containers and domestic distribution in Australia and New Zealand.
• Oversee relationships with key suppliers (e.g. materials handling equipment, racking, packing supplies).
• Act as the primary contact for warehouse security, ensuring systems are functional and inventory is secure in collaboration with IT and security vendors.
