Villa Terenzio is part of Italian Aged Care Incorporated, a Charitable Not for Profit Organisation. We provide Residential Aged Care Services for 192 residents at Villa Terenzio in Marangaroo in Perth's Northern Suburbs. Villa Terenzio is celebrating its 50th year serving the community.

About the role

We are seeking full-time, compassionate individuals to join our team in supporting our elderly Australian Residents. The ideal candidates should be committed to making a positive difference in the lives of residents living with Dementia and should understand multicultural approaches to addressing the Goals, Needs, and Desires of our Residents.

Skills and experience

• Provide quality support to Consumers with their daily living activities.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating team spirit.
• Complete reporting and documentation in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Interact with Consumers and their families in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner.
• Respect Consumers' rights to privacy, dignity, freedom of choice, and social independence.
• Provide personal care tailored to each Consumer’s needs, goals, and preferences as documented in their individual plans.
• Adjust duties flexibly based on individual needs.
• Understand the background and individual needs of each Care Recipient by reviewing their plans.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures and ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct for Aged Care.
• Demonstrate knowledge and application of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
