The Treasury is looking for engaged and passionate case management and WHS professionals to provide proactive advice, support and assistance on WHS and rehabilitation case management matters.
The roles are critical to ensuring Treasury is compliant with its obligations under the WHS Act. Advice may be required on occasion in relation to the SRC Act.
Your focus will extend to :
- Providing professional policy advice on WHS legislation
- Responding to more complex enquiries and provide information on Treasury's WHS and wellbeing programs (including early intervention and Employee Assistance programs)
- Development and implementation of WHS procedures, guidelines and policies
- Undertaking secretariat duties for the Treasury Health and Safety Committee
- Conducting risk assessments and workplace audits to understand the nature of workplace risk and identify effective ways to reduce risks
- Assisting in WHS audits and investigations as required
- Managing the agency's incident reporting processes and responsibilities under the due diligence framework
- Assisting in the facilitation and management of the relevant nomination and training for roles required under the WHS legislation (HSRs, FAOs)
- Establishing and maintaining high quality relationships with senior managers and work in partnership to resolve hazards and risks
- Undertaking analysis and reporting of information including, for example, quantitative and qualitative outcomes of the WHS and rehabilitation management systems.
