As we continue to lead in technological advancements, Vault is now entering a defining phase of growth with a strategic $22.5 million investment from the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (NRFC). This investment will scale Vault’s SECRET Cloud and introduce new services such as the AUKUS cloud capability, directly addressing Australia’s strategic national security demands. Vault is now positioned to not only strengthen its existing relationships with federal and state government agencies, but also strengthen its relationships with private sector businesses requiring secure cloud storage.To support this growth, we are bolstering our capability by adding numerous key roles that are integral to our future success. This is an opportunity to join us at the forefront of a once-in-a-generation technological advancement whilst at the same time securing the nation against ever-increasing threats.

We are looking for a Service Desk Lead to join our Operations team to lead a team of Service Desk resources to support our numerous cloud regions across the country. The role is based in our Canberra office and is a unique opportunity to be pivotal in leading teams to deliver on service levels across a range of critical services supporting the nation as we grow and scale Vault Cloud.

You will be responsible for :

  • Leading the Service Desk team, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring service delivery meets SLO / SLA objectives, monitoring performance, leveraging Jira Service Desk tooling to drive continuous improvements and efficiency.
  • Acting as the SME for ITIL Service Management, overseeing Incident and Problem Management and managing a 24 / 7 On-Call roster
  • Working with SME’s to coordinate required data centre activities to sustain optimal performance.

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate with :

  • The scope of this role requires an Australian Government Security Clearance; therefore, applicants must be Australian Citizens and have the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
  • A deep understanding of Service Management, ITIL
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Proven expertise in one or more of the following areas : Service Management and Data Center Management
  • Availability and flexibility to participate in a 24 / 7 on-call rotation.
