Business Development Manager - Mining Industry

We are one of the largest activated carbon companies in the world. We use our experience and knowledge to offer high quality activated carbon, related services, and filter media to our wide range of customers. We are looking for independent, motivated and talented sales people to join our Australian team to help customers with all of their filtration media needs, including supplying carbon to gold mines.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop business through networking and sales calls to sell activated carbon, filter vessels and related services
Diligent research for customer leads throughout Australia and within the Pacific region
Relationship building and full account management
Submitting tenders, Negotiation of price with customers and keeping up with market trends
Maintain close relations with sales, purchasing and management teams
Process quotes, invoices, dispatch documents in internal systems

Requirements

Sales leadership experience gained with selling carbon to goldmines, water treatment, waste management or otherwise relevant corporation is essential

Prior experience selling activated carbon is preferred

Self-motivated with attention to detail

Committed to customer satisfaction, confidentiality and ability manage proprietary data

A team leader who displays professionalism, a high level of ethics and credibility

High level of written and oral communication skills
