Operations Officer

The position involves a fair amount of travelling and working away from home. The key responsibilities of the role are :

• Pre-ordering of materials (Aggregate, sand, cement) to be delivered to sites ahead of arrival of batching plant
• Act as the liaison point with clients across onsite projects, from establishing suitable site for setup of batching plant through to project handover on completion.
• Coordination of logistics to shift batching plant, silo, loader and agitator trucks to site
• Coordination of subcontractor Grano crews to suit project size and timing requirements
• Coordination of accommodation requirements for Batching staff & Grano crews
• Onsite Setup of batching plant.
• Overseeing grano crew works
• Concrete batching
• Concrete Quality control sampling and testing
• Project specific reporting on safety, efficiency and quality.
• Maintenance of batching plant & associated machinery.
