Role opportunity :

We are seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic and committed Purchasing Officers with proven experience across the mining, resources, construction, and oil & gas sectors. If you have a strong background in procurement / purchasing and are looking to be part of dynamic projects within these industries, we would love to hear from you.

Core skills and qualifications :

  • Demonstrated experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar procurement role
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • In-depth understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management systems
  • Proficient in the use of purchasing and procurement software platforms

    • Duties and responsibilities :

  • Prepare and issue purchase orders in alignment with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor stock levels and collaborate with internal departments to anticipate and plan for material requirements
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier data
  • Track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods and pro-actively resolve any supply issues or discrepancies
  • Assess supplier performance and foster strong, collaborative relationships with vendors
