Job descriptionCreate opportunities for community members to engage in a range of quality education and support programs to assist them to build their personal capacity Able to facilitate any of the programs offered Develop a network to advertise the programs Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality service delivery Recruit, train and manage volunteers to effectively facilitate the learning programs in line with TSA policies and procedures Participate in team activities, attend staff meeting when scheduled Provide input, contribute to growth and expansion of the service for wider connections within the local community A commitment to the Christian faith and mission of the Salvation Army Experience in facilitating training programs and public speaking Extensive experience in leading and managing people / or a degree in Teaching or Social Sciences Willingness to undertake further training as required by training providers for example Undertaking LifeKeys Facilitators Training A national police record check Compulsory Code of Conduct, WHS and Bullying and Harassment training modules are completed and up to date. About the role
We're looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Program Coordinator. In this role will organise and support the delivery and evaluation of our capacity building program 'Strong Parents = Strong Kids' which offers Toolbox and Positive Lifestyle Program to the local community focusing on meeting the needs of the local community and providing tools for people to carry with them in their lives.
Your focus will be on meeting the unique needs of our local community and providing individuals with practical tools and skills they can carry with them throughout their lives. If you're a natural connector, with a passion for community development and a proven track record of success in capacity building, we want to hear from you.
