About the role
We're looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Program Coordinator. In this role will organise and support the delivery and evaluation of our capacity building program 'Strong Parents = Strong Kids' which offers Toolbox and Positive Lifestyle Program to the local community focusing on meeting the needs of the local community and providing tools for people to carry with them in their lives.
Your focus will be on meeting the unique needs of our local community and providing individuals with practical tools and skills they can carry with them throughout their lives. You will successfully
Create opportunities for community members to engage in a range of quality education and support programs to assist them to build their personal capacityAble to facilitate any of the programs offeredDevelop a network to advertise the programsBuild relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality service deliveryRecruit, train and manage volunteers to effectively facilitate the learning programs in line with TSA policies and proceduresParticipate in team activities, attend staff meeting when scheduledProvide input, contribute to growth and expansion of the service for wider connections within the local communityThis is a permanent part-time role (15.2 hours per week) located in Wynn Vale, SA.
You will have
A commitment to the Christian faith and mission of the Salvation ArmyExperience in facilitating training programs and public speakingExtensive experience in leading and managing people / or a degree in Teaching or Social SciencesWillingness to undertake further training as required by training providers for example Undertaking LifeKeys Facilitators TrainingA national police record checkCompulsory Code of Conduct, WHS and Bullying and Harassment training modules are completed and up to date.Drivers LicenceWorking With Children CheckWhat we offer
