Job descriptionOverall Role Purpose_ Inhouse Project Co-ordinator in our team, you will be responsible for : Liaise with shipping lines, agents, trucking companies, and project clients globally in the coordination of freight movements. Maintenance and update of freight movement records on the DHL & Client Tracking Systems. Validation and Verification of shipment documentation, permit requirements, and licenses. Key Focal Point for Client and DHL Internal Stakeholders. Preparation of shipment pre-alert packets for customs clearance and transport. Work closely with the Operations Manager and Account Manager on continuous improvement. Positively contribute to promoting safe and best practices with regards to HSE / Compliance within DGF Group, its Clients, Subcontractors, and affiliates. To be successful in the role, your skills and experience will include Essential_ : Minimum three (3) to five (5) years previous experience in a similar position Previous Freight Forwarding industry exposure and experience Two (2) to three (3) years of freight forwarding experience ideally in a Project Environment. Desirable - House Project coordination experience Desirable - Oil & Gas Experience Excellent Communication skills (English), spoken and written Strong Interpersonal and rapport-building skills - partnering with the wider DHL business Business understanding; strategy, processes, knowledge Why DHL Global Forwarding? - to join our team! The role is a full-time position - based on-site at both the client site and the DHL office. (
- 4 days per week onsite at the client facility & 1 day per week based at DHL Perth Facility)
