We are seeking a
- General Manager - Community
- to oversee the operational management, and effective, efficient delivery of Bethanie's Community support services (including home care). This is a key leadership position reporting to the Bethanie CEO.
The General Manager - Community will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Community services and developing a high-performance culture. This is an opportunity to work with a leading organisation that values customer service excellence and client-centred care in delivering our community services.
Key responsibilities will includeOperational management of the Community divisionExecuting change management and ensuring the broader team are aligned and supported through changeImplementing significant service model reformPlan and execute continuous improvement activities in line with Bethanie's broader strategic planFinancial responsibility including budget review and ongoing budget managementProvide strong leadership, direction and coaching to direct reportsAbout youYou have proven success in leading teams, driving strategy and successful change management. You bring a project management mindset to your role and have the capacity to understand financials with an operational lens.
Additional requirements :
Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in a Health related field or Business ManagementExtensive experience in a senior leadership role within the aged care, community services or health industryContemporary knowledge of home care and solid understanding current and future service delivery models as well as regulatory, quality and funding requirementsDemonstrated ability and experience in leading effective teams, modelling desired values and behaviours, inspiring and motivating them to achieve organisational goalsHaving established networks in state / federal advisory groups or similar advocacy exposure is also desirableWorking with BethanieAt Bethanie we are committed to being an employer of choice by creating a supportive and compassionate environment for our people, customers, and residents.
