Position Title : Retail Manager

Employment Type : Full-time

Salary : $77,000.00 – $80,000.00 per annum plus superannuation

Experience Required : 1–2 years in retail or fuel station operations

Duties And Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our petrol station. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail or service station environment.

Key duties include

Staff Supervision And Training

Oversee daily activities of service station staff.Provide hands-on training for fuel handling, cash register operations, and customer service.Prepare staff rosters and ensure adequate shift coverage.

Customer Service

Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.Resolve customer issues and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.

Stock And Inventory Management

Monitor fuel levels and coordinate fuel orders.Manage inventory of convenience store items, including restocking and expiry checks.Receive deliveries and maintain stock records accurately.

Sales And POS Management

Operate and supervise point-of-sale (POS) systems.Ensure correct pricing, promotions, and product displays.Reconcile daily sales, manage till balances, and prepare basic financial reports.

Health, Safety, And Compliance

Ensure compliance with workplace safety, fire safety, and hazardous goods handling.Maintain cleanliness of forecourt and store, ensuring all equipment is in working order.Enforce security protocols, including CCTV monitoring and incident reporting.

Reporting And Communication

Communicate store performance, customer feedback, and operational issues to senior management.Assist in implementing marketing promotions and local area outreach as required
