In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving the business to achieve its strategic objectives. You will work closely with the Store Manager and Business Manager to maintain high operational standards and contribute to the store's success.
- Tasks Include
- Manage and lead a team of retail sales associates, ensuring high levels of customer service, handling customer complaints and staff engagement
- Oversee store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, presentation and growth.
- Organizing displays, promotions, and stock replenishment
- Managing daily store activities, including sales, inventory, and staff scheduling.
- Recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating team members.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the customer experience
- Monitoring budgets, sales targets, and expenses.
- Work closely with the leadership team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
- Liaise with management and other stakeholders to share insights and support the overall business objectives
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing coaching and development opportunities for the team
- Qualifications and other requirements for Retail managers
- Diploma level qualifications or equivalent in management or another relevant field.
- Recent minimum of one year of relevant experience working in a retail management role within the grocery or supermarket industry, preferably an independent grocery store
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in inventory management, financial reporting, and data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Familiarity with relevant retail industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A valid driver license with your own reliable vehicle.
- Ability work with flexible hours including weekends.
Pay : $74,000.00 - $81,000.00 per year
