THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the Venue Manager, as the Retail Manager at Plumpton Hotel, you are responsible for but not limited to : Customer service, cross-selling and up-selling to maximise sales Manage and liaise with suppliers and Senior Management General maintenance and cleanliness of the cellar and loading dock areas Be across stocktake procedures, and implement controls & solutions as needed Managing a small team of staff including rostering, training and hiring All aspects of stock control including ordering, goods received, stock rotation, meeting profit targets, stocktakes and data entry Upholding the venue's strong values on customer service and store presentation Building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers WHO ARE YOU Minimum 2+ years' liquor retail experience Exceptional eye for detail Immaculate presentation paralleled with hands on service delivery Excellent communication; written and verbal Strong financial acumen Exceptional understanding or all liquor categories Current RSA Certificate Forklift License desirable
