Metal Fabricator

Sutton Engineering Group is located in Sydney's West and has specialised in steel fabrication for over 40 years. The company services a wide variety of industries, including quarrying, tower cranes, manufacturing and construction.

We are seeking a self-motivated Tradesperson to fill a fulltime position in our medium to heavy fabrication business, located in St Marys.

• About the Role : _

You will be required to conduct metal fabricator duties within our factory and on various sites across Sydney and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities : _

General fabrication for various projects

Site installation and maintenance

Ensuring standard of work is of high quality and completed in a timely manner

Undertake general housekeeping duties within the workshop environment

Adhere to WHS policies and procedures

To be successful in this role, you will have : _

Recently completed a Certificate IV in Engineering (Heavy Fabrication) or an associated trade

The ability to interpret detailed drawings

Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Experience in mechanical fitting, factory maintenance and steel erection

Your own PPE and hand tools

Access to own vehicle or reliable methods of transport

Current Australian driver's license

Additional skills that are seen as desirable include : _

Forklift license

High risk work license

Dogging, Rigging, Scaffolding and Elevated Work Platform tickets

Confined space ticket

Working at height ticket

Salary

70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
