What we're looking for
We're seeking a solicitor with 3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) who possesses :
- Demonstrated Expertise : Proven experience in complex conveyancing matters is essential, with a strong preference for experience in family, commercial law and litigation.
- Exceptional Client Focus : A passion for delivering exceptional client service and achieving the best possible outcomes.
- Strong Communication & Negotiation : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, practical legal advice and effectively negotiate on behalf of clients (Mandarin, Cantonese or Bahasa Indonesian is advantageous but not essential).
- Analytical Prowess : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail.
- Litigation Experience : A proven track record of successfully representing clients in court proceedings.
- Collaborative Spirit : The ability to work seamlessly within a team and a willingness to mentor junior lawyers.
What you'll be doing
As an Experienced Solicitor at Avantro, you will :
Manage Diverse Caseloads : Independently manage a varied caseload encompassing commercial leases, family law matters (e.g., divorce applications, property settlements) and general litigation.Provide Expert Counsel : Offer expert legal counsel and representation, guiding clients through complex legal processes with confidence.Court Representation : Prepare and file court documents, negotiate settlements, and represent clients effectively in court proceedings.Legal Research & Drafting : Conduct thorough legal research, draft precise agreements and correspondence, and stay abreast of all relevant changes in property, commercial, and family law.Collaborate & Contribute : Work collaboratively with Avantro lawyers and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of legal services, and actively contribute to the growth and positive culture of the firmWhat we offer
