Salary range :

About the role
Are you a tech-savvy Project Manager with a passion for cyber security? Reporting to the Technology PMO, the role will lead projects within the Technology Infrastructure and Cyber Program. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a hands-on environment, and is eager to drive the maturity of our Essential 8 and Further 5 frameworks. This role will be instrumental in uplifting our infrastructure and ensuring our technology systems are resilient, robust and secure.
Additionally, this role emphasises teamwork, communication, safety and ensuring that the company’s technology systems are governed, maintained and functional.
Key Responsibilities
Develop project plans : scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.
Manage project lifecycles, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Identify, document, and resolve project risks and issues.
Engage and communicate regularly with end-users, stakeholders, and contractors.
Facilitate project meetings and updates.
Develop and manage project budgets, tracking and reporting expenses.
Address stakeholder concerns and allocate resources efficiently.
Foster team collaboration and support team member development.
Implement technology policies and ensure compliance.
Experience and Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent work experience
3-5 years of project management experience, specifically in managing technology infrastructure and / or cyber projects.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
Effective stakeholder engagement and management.
Team player in an integrated environment.
Self-motivated and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel to other Southern Ports locations (Albany, Bunbury, Esperance, and Perth).
Highly Desirable Experience
Experience with security and scalability projects, particularly those involving compliance with ASD Essential 8, ISO 27001, or the NIST Framework
Technical background, with a hands-on approach to project delivery

The scope of the review was to look at all matters concerning port operations, port governance and port performance to ensure that Western Australia’s ports could continue to respond to the demands of the State’s rapidly growing economy.
