About the Role
Our Change Team is looking to hire two Training Specialists on a full-time, 8 month contract, ideally commencing in July 2025. We are open to this candidate being located in any major Australian city.
Working as part of a Project Change Team, you would be responsible for supporting the training and capability uplift of the business, specifically :
Support the Training Manager in the design and development of the Training Strategy, Training Plan, Training Needs Analysis and Training Curriculum Support identification of appropriate training methods to successfully educate users
Support the maintenance and integrity of the training environment (where applicable)
Support the development of training content and materials for key stakeholder persona groups
Identify resources to support review of training materials and facilitate reviews
Support the translation of vendor training material (where applicable)
Appropriate storage and distribution of training materials, user guides and other on-demand training materials
Participate in train-the-trainer sessions (where applicable)
Support and execute the delivery of training
Support design and implementation of assessment methods to measure training effectiveness
Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and create relevant and engaging learning solutions
Implement effective learning methodologies, such as e-learning, classroom training, workshops, and coaching, to meet the diverse learning styles of employees
Skills / Attributes Required :
Proven experience as a Training Specialist or similar role in a project or program environment, with successful delivery and people adoption of change
Good understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Good understanding of key OD / L&D principles and models
Experience managing relationships with internal business stakeholders and external partners
Demonstrated ability to transfer skills to team members
Qualifications and Experience required :
Experience as a Training Specialist on projects or changes to systems, processes, ways of working, etc.
Good written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
A consultative and adaptable mindset, with the ability to understand and navigate organisational cultures and structures.
Professional certification in learning and development / training (desirable)
Experience supporting the successful development and execution of a Training Strategy
Workday or Microsoft Dynamics CRM system knowledge is desirable
Proficiency in learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools, as well as Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint Online, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
