The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality specialty services in Interventional Radiology (IR), and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Radiology Department and Hospital as required.The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.The successful applicant will be registered or eligible for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists and / or other specialist recognised qualifications in Interventional Radiology and / or other equivalent specialist recognition.Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.For enquiries about the position, please contact Dr Richard Pow via email at Applications are accepted via eCredential ONLY.
