Job Duties

Reporting into the CFO, the role will involve taking leadership of the Payroll team with key tasks involving :

Developing, mentoring and leading a payroll teamOverseeing the end to end payroll processing and providing hands on support when required (fortnightly pay run)Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiencyA clear focus and improvement on payroll complianceProving accurate information in response to employee queriesPreparation of monthly payroll journalsProvide ongoing trainingEnsure relevant awards and legislation are interpreted

Candidate Profile

Skills

The successful applicant will have proven leadership experience in a similar Payroll Manager position along with the following skills and attributes :

Proven experience leading and managing large teamsIdeally have utilised KronosEstablished experience working within a medium / large sized organisationExcellent communication skills both written and verbalThe ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAsProven process improvement initiatives
