The Development Executive role will suit an individual with a background in philanthropy, business development or sales, specifically in medical health research. A key component of the role will be focusing on securing new relationships with corporate and individual donors, to support our School of Medical Health Sciences and School of Nursing And Midwifery to support students and deliver world-class research projects, and other programs, the role is varied and dynamic, with scope for creativity.
Ability to organise and present information, views and concepts in a concise, understandable and interesting format for a variety of audiences
Innovative forward thinking, willingness to seek and accept challenges and opportunities and development of communication plans and strategies
Ability to influence the decisions, actions or perceptions of others and create networks in order to achieve goals
Advanced networking skills, with a strong track record of building and fostering donor relationships
A strong sales background with a good track record of securing major gifts and exceeding targets.
Have worked for a medical health charity or organisation would be preferable.
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations is responsible for building the foundations of lifelong relationships between the University's alumni, business, and the community. The Office comprises of three teams - Alumni Relations and Development and Operations.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, fixed term position offers a competitive remuneration of $100,512 to $112,622 p.a plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
