About the roleAs a Business Development Manager for Dulux Protective Coatings, you will utilise your extensive protective coatings knowledge to support, manage and grow our Dulux Protective Coatings business opportunities throughout South Australia, ensuring excellence in technical advice, customer satisfaction and profitable growth.
Reporting to and working alongside the Regional Sales Manager, you will work independently in managing the region's business development through specification, building solid relationships with tier 1 and 2 builders, large fabricators, consultants, engineers, architects and asset owners.
- Responsibilities
- Identify and deliver new business opportunities throughout SA, NT and Tasmania.
- Develop and drive business relationships with key asset owners, large fabricators, tier 1 and 2 Builders, consultants, specifiers, and major sites through specification
- Write specifications for major projects and sites
- Increase Dulux exposure through specifications in the mining and ports sector
- Managing a project pipeline for the region within C4C (Cloud for Customer)

- Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role selling large volumes to commercial construction with a desire to grow and progress in a business
- Experience working with Tier 1 & 2 Commercial Construction Builders & Developers - you'll need strong knowledge and solid networks in this sector
- Experience working with a long-term sales pipeline and managing project data within C4C (Cloud for Customer).
- Ability to influence and present in a highly competitive market with various levels of stakeholders
- Industry experience or having NACE accreditation is an advantage
