The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is responsible for training, educating and representing psychiatrists in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
This is a fixed-term, part-time position (0.6FTE) from July 2025 to February 2026.
Our Project Officer, Membership Development assists us to design and implement a diverse range of initiatives, projects and programs that support our members. Working alongside our members on Committees and representative groups, this role will actively consult, plan, coordinate and deliver a range of identified output that assists us to meet the needs and expectations of our members.
This role will have a particular focus on :
Supporting the delivery of the RANZCP Mentoring Program.Implementing recommendations from the RANZCP Membership and Trainee Engagement Strategies.Coordinating orientation activities and welcome packs for new trainees commencing the RANZCP Fellowship pathway in 2025.Implementing projects and actions that support members approaching or who have retired from practice.Working on a range of other projects or activities that support member engagement and development and promote the value of RANZCP membership.
What you'll bring Demonstrated experience in project planning, coordination, writing, publishing, and communications skills in a variety of formats and styles.Demonstrated experience in a similar role and / or arelevant tertiary qualification.Competence with the MS Office suite and database software.Knowledge or understanding of the Australasian health system context.Background in membership or nonprofit organisations is advantageous, as is an interest in contributing to improvements in mental healthcare.Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or the right to work in Australia.Successful candidates must complete and pass a National Police Check before commencing employment.Some of what's on offer : A Total Remuneration Package (TRP) from $65,363-$81,755 TRP is on offer, inclusive of leave loading and 12% superannuation.Hybrid working model.A paid day off each month for full-time employees (pro-rata for part-timers).How to apply To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining how you meet the requirements of the role as a single document via the Expr3ss link.
