Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive, you will report directly to the Director of Sales, playing a pivotal role in optimizing the overall revenue potential for Holiday Inn Perth City Centre across designated market segments. Your primary responsibilities will encompass cultivating relationships, securing new business opportunities, and nurturing the growth of existing accounts in alignment with your personalized business plan objectives.

Your key focus will be on delivering an exceptionally high level of professional expertise and customer-centric approach in all interactions with acquisition, retention, and development clients. This commitment aims to drive maximum revenue and enhance the hotel's overall profitability.

Functioning within the Sales team, you will act as the representative and embodiment of the brand. Your contributions will carry substantial influence in driving the growth and progress of Holiday Inn Perth City Centre, collaborating with a team that is both highly motivated and deeply passionate about fulfilling their respective roles.

• Your day to day
• To source and establish new business opportunities within the core business segments aligned to the position
• Proactively maintain and service a portfolio of accounts; follow up existing inquiries with the purpose of conversion
• Accountability to meet individual goals, targets and achieving set KPI's for the role
• Organise and participate in client entertaining, functions, familiarisations / educational, site inspections and Industry network events
• Recognise and act on potential business opportunities, including responsibility for tender / RFP process for relevant clients
• Positively contribute to total alignment between the Commercial Function and Hotel Operations to ensure open communication in order to maintain and enhance Guest Satisfaction targets
• Maintain awareness of competitor products, tactics and pricing and uses this information to influence strategy
• Support the Director of Sales with procured and new business opportunities
• Contribute to a positive and productive work environment that delivers results and is highly engaged
• A passion for Sales and looking for the next step up in their career
• A minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar business development role
• A track record of lead generation and building business across managed accounts
• A confident communicator and networker with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, matched with a positive attitude and a logical approach
• Immaculate personal presentation skills and grooming
• Exceptional organisation and time management skills and high attention to detail.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of competitor's products, developments, rates and policies
