This role is based in Perth, WA and local regional / interstate travel forms part of the role. Reporting to the WA Sales Manager, the role is varied and covers a range of responsibilities.- Your day-to-daymissions and tasks- Selling and promoting Acoem's monitoring instrumentation, systems and services into WAIdentifying opportunities proactively, through new business development and with existing accountsResponding to incoming sales enquiriesDeveloping product knowledge through company literature and other independent sources of technical informationAttending conferences, visiting customers and performing training seminarsProducing high quality quotes and follow ups while maintaining our CRM system (Salesforce)Account management with regular client contact understanding their needs and pain pointsScheduling appointments and preparing thorough meeting notesReporting Sales forecast and analysisImportant : what are the essential elements to apply?- Proven experience in a business development or Sales role in a B2B environmentExperience making cold calls / visits to generate new business opportunitiesExperience selling scientific instrumentation or complex systemsAbility to build solid, long term customer relationshipsSound understanding of engineering or scientific instrumentsExperience in selling technical products and servicesWhat skills are needed?- Ability to work autonomously in a fluid working environmentEnergy and drive as well as being a team player who relates well with all stakeholder levelsExcellent communication, planning and organisation skillsWhen looking for new people to join our team, we look for people who share our values, who are like minded, courageous and passionate about their work.
