People Analytics Senior Consultant The opportunity As our People Analytics Senior Consultant you'll work with the People Analytics team has a clear mission - to help EY make better decisions about the future of its workforce by generating insights and recommendations from data to better attract, develop, and retain our most precious asset – our people.
We support the Talent team and its business leaders by creating a strategically driven measurement portfolio including decision-supporting dashboards, reports, and deep dive analyses.
As an integral member of the People Analytics team, the People Analytics Senior Consultant will have a specific focus on data management, data investigation, predictive modelling, and data visualisation. Building key partnerships with Talent leaders, and working closely with both Talent and business stakeholders, the Senior Consultant will use advanced analytics tools and techniques.
This is a position requiring both technical knowledge and business awareness, providing challenging opportunities for motivated individuals to contribute to the strategic direction of achieving our All In ambition.
This is a hybrid position based in Boorloo – Perth. This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities Consult with our Talent Centres of Excellence such as Enablement, DE&I, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Talent Project Delivery to understand their strategic imperatives. Provides exceptional service by being connected, responsive and Insightful. Understands their needs and business questions to determine the analysis and deliverables. Maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders (including Global Talent Insights & Analytics) to keep on the pulse of what is important to business and build relevant analysis and interpretation. Establish credibility by demonstrating an understanding and keeping current on people analytic trends, research and tools. Generates innovative ideas to employ in deliverables. Skills and attributes for success Bachelor's degree is preferred in Business / Data Analytics, Statistics, Industrial / Organisational Psychology or related fields 3 to 5+ years of relevant business experience working with data within a medium, to large organisation Strong HR functional background and extensive knowledge of HR processes and systems related to people data Ideally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
Proven relevant experience in understanding People data analysis and reporting Experience applying statistical methods such as linear and logistic regression Proficiency with at least one data visualisation tool such as Power BI, Tableau or others Certification in Data analytics and / or Data visualisation would be beneficial though not essential.
