About the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission
The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) was formed on 1 January 2019. We work to improve the lives of older people by maintaining the integrity of the aged care system.
As the single independent regulator of Australian Government aged care services, we offer a variety of interesting and challenging jobs across most capital cities.
It is an exciting time to join the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, with major reforms underway to improve aged care in Australia. You will be contributing to our role as the national regulator to safeguard and protect older Australians receiving aged care services.
About the Team
The Commission has established a strong data and intelligence capability in Intelligence & Analysis (I&A) as part of its operating model, with a need for maturing capabilities within operational groups. Together with the objectives of the New Aged Care Act, Reform for Better Aged Care (RBAC), and other operational imperatives; we are here to influence, drive and shape the data maturity journey in the Commission.
We are responsible for delivering predicted, planned and unplanned reporting and information, generating and supporting the use of tactical intelligence, providing complex analysis and advice, overseeing risk modelling and risk profiling, and managing our data environment.

About the Role
As a Data Education Officer / Teacher, you will be responsible for leading the development, delivery, quality control and coordination of educational resources. Your primary focus will be collaborating with our colleagues in I&A and their customers to elicit and refine requirements, and our partners in the Commission's technical and whole-of-agency training teams to deliver educational activities in the right context.

Position Eligibility Requirements (Selection Criteria)
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following :
Experience in leading the design and development of learning programs, educative materials and interactive sessions for delivery in both a face-to-face and virtual learning environment.
Demonstrated experience in the facilitation of educative sessions in a virtual or face-to-face environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distil complex technical guidance into engaging and useful learning products and activities.
Demonstrated ability to develop productive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Position Notes
Salary offered will be between $92,970 - $104,883 per annum depending on skills and experience. In addition, 15.4% superannuation will be paid.
Merit Pool established through this selection process may be used to fill this or future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies.
