Database Administrator (Cloud Projects)

Australian Citizens residing in Australia with the ability to obtain Baseline Clearance only respond.

• Contract start 01 February 2024 to 6 months, 2 x 12 months extensions.
• Australian Citizen, ability to obtain Baseline Clearance, Canberra, Offsite role.

Plan and execute data migration of Oracle databases from on prem to AWS Cloud platform (incl SaaS, PaaS and IaaS) including :

Work with application project teams to provide expert advice and problem resolution support focused around Cloud hosted databases including :

Work within a team of infrastructure specialists to develop a medium to long range plan surrounding database hosting and support including :

Provide ongoing support and administration for Cloud hosted databases.

Preferred Technical Knowledge :

Preferred SFIA level is EL1 equivalent.

1. Experience and ability to plan and execute data migration of Oracle databases from on prem to AWS Cloud platforms, including SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.

2. Experience and ability to work with application project teams to provide expert advice and problem resolution support focused around Cloud hosted databases

3. Experience and ability to work within a team of infrastructure specialists to develop a medium to long range plan surrounding database hosting and support

4. Experience and ability to provide ongoing support and administration for Cloud hosted databases

5. Technical knowledge - Cloud Computing (AWS)

1. Technical knowledge Oracle RDBMS, Solaris / Linux, and NetApp storage knowledge, PostgressSQL

2. Experience working with Agile methodologies
