Clinical Informatics Specialist

The Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance was formed on July 1, 2003, as a partnership between Listowel Memorial Hospital and Wingham and District Hospital. We share a common management structure with one CEO and a commitment to partnership, with shared Mission, Vision, and Values. The Alliance Board combines members from both hospital boards. Listowel Memorial Hospital has been providing acute and complex continuing care services since 1919, serving North Perth and surrounding areas. Our accredited hospital offers primary and secondary services, including 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient services, specialist clinics, and diagnostic services. Our staff includes 10 Family Practitioners and several specialists.

Hospital services include :

• Emergency, Operating Rooms, Diagnostic and Ambulatory Care Units
• Maternal / Newborn Unit
• Diabetes / Nutrition Counseling
• Speech-Language Pathology
• Physiotherapy
• Breast Health Centre
• Fully electronic patient health records linked with Family Health Teams and physicians

The Wingham and District Hospital is a modern facility offering medical, surgical, obstetrical, pediatric, chronic, and rehabilitation services, including 24-hour emergency coverage.

Services include :

Position : Clinical Informatics Specialist

Region : Huron and Perth

Description : The Clinical Informatics Specialist acts as a liaison between clinical areas and the IT / Clinical Informatics department, focusing on identifying needs for clinical applications, supporting evaluation, selection, and implementation of systems, and training staff to optimize system use. This is a temporary, full-time role starting July 2025 through December 2026, working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday.
