The Opportunity The Role Develop comprehensive view of material and supplier spend across global manufacturing and purchasing network Review historical pricing and volume commitments across all key segments and identify areas of opportunity to renegotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs and other terms Develop risk matrix and mitigation plans for all key commodity and supplier segments and single sourced components and têxtiles Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve quality and sustainability outcomes by benchmarking commodity costs across geographies and suppliers and providing clear transparency of market movement Partner with Manufacturing teams to develop Make vs Buy models for key components Partner with Design and R&D teams to review VA / VE projects and identify opportunities to standardise components and simplify manufacturing processes Partner with Quality teams to review Supplier performance to specification and improve component and product quality, holding Suppliers accountable to financial outcomes Partner with Commercial teams to competitively source items not suitable for internal manufacturing (Cased Goods) About You 8-10+ years in sourcing and procurement within manufacturing, with 3-5+ years in a senior leadership role. Proven expertise in developing and executing sourcing strategies across categories. Strong track record in supplier negotiations, relationship building, and performance management. Familiarity with industry-specific procurement needs and trends. Experience managing procurement activities on a regional or global scale. Skilled in procurement systems (e.g., SAP ) and data analysis tools. Ability to identify supply chain risks and implement sustainable procurement practices. Exceptional skills in leading teams, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision-making.
