About the role :
We are currently seeking an experienced and physically capable Emergency Services Trainer to join our team on a part-time or contract basis in a FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) capacity . This crucial role delivers and assesses emergency response training programs for mining personnel, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Working FIFO to client sites (including remote and underground locations), you will lead both classroom and field-based sessions, including simulated emergency scenarios. This role is key to supporting safety, capability, and compliance across mine sites.
Key Responsibilities :
Qualifications and Experience :
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) Current First Aid and CPR (advanced responder preferred) Proven experience in surface or underground mining environments Operational or supervisory experience in Mines Rescue
Firefighting, HAZMAT, confined space, vertical or underground rescue qualifications Experience with training management systems and compliance Exposure to vehicle extrication or defensive driving training
