We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our Strategy, Planning and Policy team, with a focus on public transport.
As Project Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of strategic public transport initiatives. Working under limited direction and closely with the Director, you will contribute to the development and implementation of projects that enhance the efficiency, accessibility, and sustainability of Canberra's transport network.
We're Seeking Someone Who Is
Highly organised with strong project coordination, research, and administrative skills.An excellent communicator with experience drafting professional documents and reports.Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.Knowledgeable in public sector governance, procurement, and compliance frameworks.Able to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.

Eligibility / Other Requirements : Highly Desirable :
Project management experience or qualifications.Demonstrated understanding of legislation, regulations.An understanding of public transport or similar field.
Notes : Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
