The roleRRP PMO Reporting Manager Role is a critical leadership role within A&G Group. RRP PMO Reporting Manager role plays a vital role in ensuring the development and the compliant delivery of strategy and performance in alignment with Auto & General Group strategy.
The RRP Reporting Manager is a member of the A&G Risk Remediation Project (RRP) Management Office (PMO) working on the delivery of a significant program of improvements across the group to uplift risk practices and further position for growth. This role will ensure that internal and external stakeholders have clear and up to date information about the performance of the RRP program to enable clear informed decision making.
This is an exciting role in a significant program of work that will assist in shaping A&G's approach to risk management.
Role And ResponsibilitiesCollate data and latest workstream reports to inform program reporting and enable workstream reporting assuranceIssue communications to workstreams to support timely preparation, review and issue of workstream reportsPrepare reporting and communications to report status, issues and findings to all stakeholdersConduct program and reporting data analysis to identify themes, risks and opportunitiesReview workstream reports to conduct initial quality assurance activities, and work with Workstreams to resolve any issues in a timely mannerPerform reporting administrative and ad hoc activities as requiredAction any updates required of reporting templates, cadence or format.Develop Steering Committee and Board materials about the program.Develop reporting for our external parties.The RRP PMO will specifically have the following core functions and responsibilitiesProject governance & process improvementdefine, implement and continually refine project management governance frameworks across the RRP program to simplify tasks, streamline workflows, standardise, and enhance overall project management processes.Financial reportingwork with the Finance Function to define and implement financial processes for the RRP and other projects including budgeting and business cases (including identifying internal resource redeployment, incremental resource approvals and the use and management of external consultants) and ensure that the RRP and other projects are budgeted well and stay on budget once they are funded.Portfolio reportingdefine and control key performance indicators and build reports that help the program team, executive teams or the Board and it's committees see how well the RRP is performing, and that business case benefits / value drops are being delivered.Quality Assuranceensure there is a check and challenge occurring over what is being reported from working groups in programs as to whether there is truth in portfolio reporting and that signals are being identified as early as possible to allow rectification.Resource managementwork with the Business Owners to ensure appropriate people are at the head of the RRP. and underlying workstreams, ensure there are an optimum level of project managers, team members and commitment levels available to take on the RRP and each other project and resolve conflicts between business units and projects on prioritisation and effective allocation of resourcing.Risk managementidentify and assess risks of the program. With Business Owners manage potential dependencies, risks and implement strategic plans to mitigate them, including noting the ability of future projects impact on delivering the RRP.Stakeholder & executive communicationsassist Business Owners to communicate with external stakeholders (e.g. APRA) and internal stakeholders (e.g. Board, Group Exco) at an appropriate level to ensure stakeholders have the requisite knowledge of the RRP to assess whether Auto & General is achieving goals and meeting expectationsQualifications, Experience & SkillsThe experience required for this role includes :
