Position overviewThis new position is responsible for delivering the corporate reporting requirements for QIC.
This position has accountability for the monitoring, assessment, and reporting of QIC's business performance, working closely with key stakeholders across the organisation.
This role sits within QIC's Corporate Secretariat Team which is part of the Corporate Affairs, Government and Strategy division.
- About the Role
This Corporate Reporting Manager role is a newly created position within our Secretariat team and as such, you will have the chance to own and shape the best way to deliver the reporting requirements of QIC. You will work directly with the key decision makers in our business and enjoy building deep relationships across all of QIC's teams up to, and including, our CEO, Chairman and Investment Committees. The diversity of the work and stakeholders will see you involved in all aspects of reporting QIC's business strategy and outcomes and it is essential that you have a genuine interest and curiosity in how we do business.
The key aspects of this role include :
- Coordination and review of Business Unit Board updates as and when required
- Working alongside the Director, Corporate Secretariat and Governance to coordinate and provide support and input into all CEO Management and Board reporting requirements as needed
- Development and submission of all quarterly corporate reporting requirements to the Queensland Government
- Providing support on the management of QIC's Quarterly Business Reviews including coordination of reporting templates and collation of information
- Leading the development and delivery of QIC's Annual Report
- Leading the development and delivery of QIC's annual Statement of Corporate Intent and five-year Corporate Plan, including the co-ordination and delivery of QIC's participation in the Queensland Government's submissions process
- Providing support on the coordination and distribution of Board and Management Committee papers as and when required
- Supporting the management of QIC's relationship with Queensland Treasury's GOC Performance and Governance Team, including attendance at monthly review meetings and managing enquiries and requests as needed
- Providing support to the Corporate Affairs, Government & Strategy (CAGS) Leadership Team in relation to the documentation of team processes and business management tasks as required (e.g. maintenance of the CAGS business continuity plan, contracts register, offsite planning and agendas).

- Regular interaction with to provide reporting, analysis and business management support as needed

- Work closely with and support the team on the coordination and distribution of Board and Management Committee papers as and when required
- Manager - Corporate Strategy
- Work closely with to ensure progress against strategic objectives are tracked, reported on and communicated to key stakeholders
- QIC Chief Executive Officer and QIC Limited Board Chair -
- Engage and consult with as and when required
- QIC Executive Management Team and Executive Committee -
- Work with, consult and present to as needed
- Internal stakeholders -
- Liaise with teams across QIC to coordinate inputs and applicable content reviews / verification on all corporate reporting requirements
- Queensland Treasury GOC Performance and Governance Department -
- Manage the relationship with key stakeholders to ensure QIC compliance to all GOC reporting requirements are adhered to.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solution-orientated mindset
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision and to autonomously own your workload
- Ability to multi-task and appropriately manage conflicting priorities
- Tertiary qualifications in Business / Communications / Law or equivalent relevant industry qualifications
