About the role

We’re looking for a strategic and driven Portfolio Manager to embed sustainable investment integration and stewardship across our Private Markets portfolio. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering strong financial outcomes for our members while embedding sustainable investment principles across infrastructure, real estate, private equity, and private debt.
Day to day, you'll :
- Collaborate with asset class teams to embed SI integration, due diligence, and stewardship practices.
- Lead stewardship implementation for Private Market portfolios, with a focus on infrastructure assets
- Integrate climate resilience into infrastructure portfolios aligned with our Net Zero Roadmap.
- Contribute to SI data collection and analysis to support investment decisions.
- Report on SI strategy effectiveness, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Shape and execute Sustainable Investment & Planning strategies.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align objectives.
- Negotiate with external partners to secure optimal investment outcomes.

About you

You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, investments, commerce, or economics.You bring relevant experience in a sustainability, responsible investment, financial services, investment management, consulting or business role. Prior experience in infrastructure will be highly regarded.You’ve got a working knowledge of key sustainable investment topics (climate change, human rights, biodiversity and SI frameworks (AASB, SASB, PCAF, GRESB, EDCI .You’ve got proven research and analytical skills, and you know how to use data to drive strategic and creative thinking.You’re skilled at managing stakeholders and negotiating outcomes that serve the best interests of our members.You’re a clear and persuasive communicator, able to present confidently to senior management and executive teams.You’re commercially savvy and comfortable reviewing legal documents.You know how to juggle competing priorities and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.About us
