Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Communication Officer on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.
The APS5 Communications Officer position is accountable under limited direction to perform moderately complex to complex work relating to :
Assisting in the development of communications plans with specific objectives across different channels and segmentsEnsuring that plans and strategies integrate staff awareness and engagement into all announcements and external communication activity as appropriate.Creating, maintaining, and conducting analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extracting key insights for optimisation and continuous improvementThis position is accountable for organising their workflow, performing work and identifying opportunities for improvement.
They are required to make sound decisions relating to the areas of internal and external communications activity.
The position will be required to communicate with and provide advice to, a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders that supports the effective use of communication activity.
They will be responsible for providing expert advice to internal business stakeholders on the effective use of internal and external communication channels.
