12 months initial contract with potential extensionHybrid work culture, 3 days WFHShape ethical AI with robust data governanceOur client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Governance Analyst to support the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide Data and AI Governance frameworks.

This is an excellent opportunity to influence how data and AI are governed in a forward-thinking, data-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities :

Contribute to the development and rollout of a Data & AI Governance Framework, aligned with industry best practices such as DMBOK.Work with the Data Architect and enterprise leaders to define and operationalise governance policies for data and AI usage across the organisation.Collaborate with teams to enhance data quality, metadata management, and stewardship practices.Engage with internal experts in AI ethics, privacy, risk, and compliance to support safe and explainable AI deployment.Assist in meeting regulatory, audit, and data risk reporting requirements through well-documented governance controls and reporting frameworks. Key Skills & Experience :

Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data management principles (e.g., DMBOK), and data lifecycle management.Experience working with metadata management tools and implementing data quality standards.Familiarity with AI governance concepts, including model risk, explainability, bias mitigation, and ethical AI principles.Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business, data, technology, and compliance functions.Excellent organisational, analytical, and documentation skills, with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.
