Accounts Payable Officer

Job descriptionABOUT THE ROLE Data entry of supplier invoices within the accounting system, ensuring all supplier invoices are matched to an appropriately authorised purchase order Liaise with project teams and managers with regards to accurate job costing and invoicing processing cost allocation. Reconciliation of creditor statements Credit card reconciliations and preparation of EFT payment runs Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies Coordinate and assist with the supplier onboarding process and set-up of new suppliers within the system Regular review of open purchase orders within the system and work with internal stakeholders to ensure purchase orders are closed in a timely manner Assisting with the preparation of GL expense reconciliations for year-end accounts ABOUT YOU Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable experience Cert IV or Diploma or above within a business, accounting, finance, or related field and Pronto experience is advantageous but not essential Proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Exceptional attention to detail and an inquisitive, problem-solving mind Solution-focused mindset with the ability to prioritise effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with our suppliers and various stakeholders Ability to work autonomously and to reach out for support when required ABORIGINAL & TORRES STRAIT ISLANDERS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.
