The People & Culture Business Partner will act as the focal point for all people related matters for their assigned portfolio area and will support these areas across all HR strategic, advisory, and operational services.
You will establish trusted and influential relationships with managers and employees at all levels, providing expert HR consultation and advice, translating program / divisional strategies into HR objectives.
This position also plays an influential key role in championing the organisation's values and expected behaviours, as well as playing an active role in the roll out of the company's HRIS and management of Work Cover Claims.
This is a full-time position located in Forrestfield.
The DutiesDevelop and maintain highly effective stakeholder relationships with portfolio people leaders, establishing a reputation for being a trusted advisor and business partner.Adopt a business partnering approach, provide HR strategic, advisory and operational support to managers and employees across the employment life cycle.Coach and support managers in developing their leadership and management capabilities, including the development and delivery of people-management training.Provide relevant HR data and analytics to executive and management to support and inform decision making.Role model and champion the organisation's values and expected behaviours as well as promoting continuous improvement, diversity and inclusion.Manage the contracting process, including employment agreements, individual flexibility agreements, employment variations, employee leave, remuneration and other related employment terms and conditions.Support and guide managers to undertake consistent and appropriate performance & development review processes to promote a high-performance culture.Manage the offboarding process, including exit survey and exit interview data analysis, identifying continuous improvement opportunities and developing retention strategies to reduce workforce turnover.Manage Workcover claims and ensure they are implemented in accordance with the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act and associated Regulations as well as company policies and procedures.Liaise with WorkSafe agents, health practitioners, rehabilitation providers, claimants and relevant departments to achieve timely return to work of ill or injured workers.Coach managers and supervisor to develop their knowledge and understanding of Workcover compensation and injury management obligations.Required Skills and ExperienceEssential Experience :
Significant proven success in a Business Partner role at a similar levelDemonstrated success in coaching and developing business leadersAn ability to deal successfully with complex Employee Relations and Industrial Relations mattersPrevious experience in the logistics industry would be highly valuedExperience in having supported Enterprise Bargaining will be highly regardedAbility to keep abreast of any relevant legislation applicable to the performance of the duties of this positionAbility to interpret policies, procedures, and workplace lawSkills & Personal Qualities :
