Accounts Receivable Officer / Project AdministratorRPS has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and passionate Accounts Receivable Officer / Project Administrator to join our Perth team. Starting immediately and reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role is responsible for assisting with accounts receivable and the client project invoicing process for the WA Energy division of RPS. - Key Responsibilities
- Client invoicing of contractor and internal staff time / expenses which requires high volume of data entry of contractor timesheets and invoices;
- Ensuring timesheets, expenses and approvals are complete and correct;
- Working closely with project managers to ensure all details for billing clients are updated in the accounting system;
- System reconciliations for contractors time and invoices;
- Review and update of WIP reports to ensure completeness of invoicing;
- Assistance with project accruals required;
- Working closely with Malaysia office accounts / administration staff for invoicing of Malaysia contracts;
- Complete the daily bank receipting and bank reconciliation;
- Assist the credit control officer with unpaid invoice queries;
- Provide good communication and assistance for client and contractor requests;
- Assist project managers with invoicing queries;
- Assist accounts payable with queries related to contractor invoices;
- Ad hoc duties such as cover for other accounts assistants holiday / sick, support finance with month end and ad hoc reporting requirements, filing;
- General project due diligence including project setup and providing inputs / maintenance of data / documentation for projects in conjunction with PMs;
- Coordinating and managing travel bookings and logistics as required;
- Provide business support and perform general administration tasks as required.
- Qualifications Required
- Knowledge of accounting principles is required, together with proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe PDF
