Operations Manager | Tyrecycle

Tyrecycle has a rare and exciting opportunity for a passionate Operations Manager to join our state-of-the-art tyre recycling facility located in Erskine Park, Sydney. This hands-on role is crucial for ensuring safe, efficient production and delivering high-quality products that meet our customers’ needs.

Your responsibilities include :

• Providing a safe workplace by ensuring Work, Health and Safety (WH&S) requirements are met in line with Tyrecycle’s WH&S Management Systems, relevant Emergency and regulatory plans
• Scheduling production and container movements to maximise output whilst minimising cost and ensuring customer loading / unloading times are within operating standards
• Regular review and improvement of production efficiency, Overall Equipment Effectiveness – availability, Performance and quality outcomes
• Ensure preventative maintenance programs are monitored, improved and developed to maximise equipment availability
• Manage cost improvement projects utilising effective procurement, purchasing and quotation processes to maintain Tyrecycle’s competitive advantage
• Manage the operating performance of your team, provide staff induction, training, succession planning and career development
• Contractor management and compliance in accordance with Tyrecycle’s policies and procedures
• Oversee the administrative function ensuring production and management reporting requirements are met
