The Opportunity Our growing Services team are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager. Focused on customers within the New South Wales & ACT regions, you will get the opportunity to utilise your proven skills and experience as you manage existing Customers and focus on growth within a market that is full of opportunity. With a focus on Cloud and Service Providers, you will leverage your background as you take a long-term view to key Customers and Accounts within a growing segment for our Services team on a national scale. We are gearing up for an exciting period of growth and with the support of our Leadership team, you will be empowered to work in an environment that will include a mix of time in the office and valuable face time with Customers. This exciting new career opportunity will see you : Focused on Cloud and Service Providers across a broad range of technical products and servicesMaximise orders, profitability and Customer satisfaction within your territory and assigned accountsForm and maintain key relationships as you focus on high levels of Customer ServiceDevelop and execute an Annual Sales Plan as you provide proactive Account Management and proactively identify new business opportunitiesEducate Customers on offers, products, and services (e.g., including recurring and other emerging digital offers)Provide key information to our Tender Teams in preparation of Sales Quotations and Bid Proposals within a truly collaborative cultureFocus on sales / pipeline forecasts and account planning in line with key Reporting milestonesTravel throughout the New South Wales region as requiredOur ideal candidate will possess : Proven Technical Sales background coupled with experience in a similar position (Account Manager or Business Development Manager), ideally within Electrical or adjacent marketsA consultative style and experience selling to a diverse range of CustomersTrue growth focus coupled with the curiosity to learn and the desire to make an ImpactA digital mindset with proven skills in MS Office and previous experience in utilising a CRMThose with knowledge of Schneider Electric Offers, an Electrical Trade or Engineering background will be viewed favourably, as will those with a Mining / Resources backgroundAll applicants must have working rights in Australia at the time of application and will be required to provide documented evidence if selected for Interview.
