The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for multiple vacancies within the Parliamentary, Communications and Governance Branch. These roles will work in small teams to provide support across various functions.

Key Responsibilities include :
PSL6 Senior Advisor - Fraud, Risk, Business Continuity
Contribute to the design and enhancement of the department's Risk Management Policy and Framework.Develop and facilitate stakeholder risk workshops.Provide advice on risk management.Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of the department's fraud and corruption prevention initiatives.Maintain the Fraud and Corruption Control Plan.Conduct fraud and corruption risk assessments as required.Contribute to the development, maintenance, and review of the department's Business Continuity Plan.Support the development and facilitation of business continuity testing.Prepare executive reports and briefs as required.PSL6 Senior Governance Officer - Parliamentary and Governance Secretariat
Contribute to DPS' parliamentary coordination processes including drafting and quality assurance of Sente Estimates documents, reconciling evidence and supporting senior executives during Senate Estimates.Support the Assistant Director Governance Secretariat to manage high level departmental committees including the Executive Committee and Audit and Risk Committee through coordinating meeting documentation, tracking meeting milestones and action items and drafting meeting communications.Maintaining DPS' Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS) to manage Senate Estimates and committee documents including supporting expansion of PDMS functions across the department.Maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships including provision of advice on parliamentary coordination and governance secretariat procedures.PSL6 Senior Governance Officer - Organisational Performance and External Audit
Assisting with monitoring DPS' compliance with departmental legislative and governance responsibilities including setting timeframes and drafting documentation.Supporting delivery of Organisational performance publications through coordination activities, including Corporate Plans, Annual Reports and Annual Performance Statements and Business Planning activities.Supporting external audits of the department by coordinating responses to document requests and stakeholder meetings, providing advice on external audit procedures and governance arrangements of the department to internal and external stakeholders.Maintaining policies and procedures including ensuring timeframes are met to contribute to DPS' compliance with legislative and governance responsibilities.Undertaking procurements and contract management for suppliers and external committee members.PSL5 Parliamentary and Governance Officer
Conduct general administrative support functions for the Parliamentary and Governance team including mailbox management, tracking milestones and assisting with procurement processing.Preparing and maintaining documents for Sente Estimates and governance committees including brief templates, tracking spreadsheets, committee papers, action items and agendas.Supporting user access management for PDMS for the department including new access and access change requests and providing guidance to staff on use of PDMS.Managing arrangements for committee meetings including room bookings and catering.PSL5 Governance Officer - Organisational Performance and External Audit
Providing support to Organisational performance publications including collating information, updating templates and proof reading.Tracking information requests and monitoring timelines to deliver timely responses to external audit information requests.Coordinating inputs to support legislative and governance compliance and policies and procedures.Assisting with procurement and contract management of suppliers and committee members.Who we are looking for :
