Application Deadline : 25th June, 2025 As an Allied Health Support Assistant, you'll play a vital role within our Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology and Occupational Therapy departments, supporting the efficient delivery of client services. Your responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling client appointments, assisting with billing and client onboarding, managing medical records, and providing administrative support. You'll collaborate closely with managers, therapists, clients, students, volunteers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule client appointments, maintaining the Lumary appointment calendar. Confirm appointments with clients and provide necessary instructions. Assist with client onboarding and ensure funding or fee-for-service agreements are in place. Support billing inquiries and payment methods alongside the Funding Operations team. Organise and maintain electronic and paper medical records per department policies. Provide administrative assistance to Allied Health professionals including document preparation and inventory management. Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Assist in the coordination of meetings, workshops, and training sessions. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and propose process improvements. Essential Qualifications and Skills Proven excellence in customer service. NDIS workers screening check (or willingness to obtain). Valid C Class driving licence. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Desirable Qualifications and Skills Experience supporting those living with disabilities. Knowledge of NDIS and Aged Care funding streams. Quick learner with adaptability to new systems and environments.
